VICTORIA PAEDIATRICS CASE BOOK

This book is a resource for paediatrics training and practice. It was written to provide concise and comprehensive clinical paediatric guide for use in Africa and other resource-constrained settings. The book is unique as it provides information that is succinctly suitable for practitioners in the East African context and beyond.

It comprises 93 clinical cases along with pertinent investigational findings. The case studies have been outlined by system and/or subspecialties. At the end of each case, a commentary regarding the diagnosis follows, highlighting the key learning points. It is a mimic of common conditions seen during ward rounds and a few rare but essential conditions affecting children. The approach to diagnosis and management has been laid out.
